California-based Axiom Cloud, a refrigeration management solutions provider, announced that it has secured $5M (nearly €4.61M) in funding from Toshiba Tec and Windsail Capital Group to expedite the rollout of its AI-driven “Early Leak Detection” (ELD) module.

What does the “Early Leak Detection” (ELD) module offer?
The technology detects refrigerant leaks early on without the need for additional onsite hardware or sensors.
Axiom Cloud says this technology has become crucial as facilities strive to adhere to EPA regulations, particularly the American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act, which imposes restrictions on commercial emissions of Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) stemming from refrigerant leaks and other sources.
