France-based H64, a climate fintech startup, announced on Friday, July 14, that it has officially launched its carbon contribution SaaS solution, The Zero Fund (TZF).
Founded by Jamil Benabdallah, Mario Heim and Jérôme Teisseire, H64 claims to have created a solution that has a genuine, local impact – from offsetting the carbon footprint of one’s purchases to funding low-carbon transition initiatives in one’s vacation destinations.
Making carbon compensation clear and simple
The Zero Fund is an all-in-one carbon compensation management platform that brings high-quality carbon credits and all the tools required for a net zero strategy.
TZF Connect, an advanced SaaS connection solution for carbon contribution, provides distribution tools that make it possible to include climate action in every aspect of a user’s digital experience.
The firm offers access and complete traceability to high-quality carbon credits on a secure blockchain network, directly connecting players in carbon offsets.
Harmonising with the Fit for 55 and Net Zero 2050 ambitions, TZF addresses the need to integrate European and national climate regulations with their concrete implementation at the territorial level.
Starting July 15, 2023, following more than a year of software development and testing with partners in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine area, H64 will allow public and business stakeholders the possibility to join or form local climate action networks.
The recent collaboration with the Pyrénées-Atlantiques Departmental Tourism Agency (ADT 64), which led to the establishment of their own territorial carbon contribution marketplace and promotion campaign at Legeste64.com, is an example of H64’s action.
Through this project, ADT 64 enables any organisation or company to reduce their carbon footprint by assisting high-impact local initiatives.
In January 2023, TZF secured €500K in a seed round led by Hellen’s Rock Capital. The funds were to be utilised to scale up the commercial operations for making net-zero journeys accessible to any-size organisation.
