UK’s climate tech firm Revalue Nature secures €9.13M to revolutionise carbon projects

London-based Revalue Nature, a climate tech company that offers end-to-end solutions for carbon project developers, announced that it has raised $10M (nearly €9.13M) in a Series A round of funding.

Revalue is a platform that empowers project developers to safeguard and rejuvenate nature with integrity and scalability.

The company’s aim is to instil confidence in the voluntary carbon market and achieve climate and biodiversity impact on a global scale.

Investors in this round

The investment was co-led by two US-based VC firms focused on climate and impact, Ecosystem Integrity Fund (EIF) and SJF Ventures.

EIF is an investment firm that backs early growth-stage companies in environmental sustainability sectors. They prioritise real problem-solving, holding over $550M in assets.

James Everett, Managing Partner of EIF says, “For 15 years, EIF has been looking for a company that is focused on bringing integrity to the nature-based carbon market, to address the market’s problems and help realise its great potential.”

“We believe Revalue Nature is that company, that brings together experience in carbon project development, expertise in forest science, excellence in process management, and strong values. We are delighted to have the opportunity to be involved,” adds Everett.

SJF Ventures is an impact VC firm funding high-growth companies in climate change, economic opportunities, and health. Its portfolio includes Community Energy, Nextracker, TemperPack, Vital Farms, and mPulse Mobile.

Capital utilisation

With this funding, Revalue Nature will expand its partnerships and project pipeline across 8 countries and 3 continents. Additionally, the funding will be used to enhance its climate tech tools and platform capabilities.

Stuart Rowland, founder & CEO of Revalue Nature says, “Revalue exists to deliver a fundamental step-change in integrity at scale. This drives us every day.”

“This growth financing accelerates our journey to supercharge the world’s leading nature-based developers, reset the bar for quality in the carbon market, and protect and regenerate nature at a scale that makes our eyes water,” adds Rowland.
