Dubai’s TERRA became the first to introduce a Smart Battery Swapping solution in MENA

In the midst of global debates on sustainable living and technological progress, Dubai-based TERRA, a company focused on advancing electric vehicle (EV) technology claims to be revolutionising the last-mile delivery sector in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The company has become the first to introduce its Smart Battery Swapping solution in the MENA region. This innovation allows EV owners to exchange depleted batteries for fully charged ones, eliminating the hassles of lengthy charging periods.

Transforming the perspective on electric mobility

In alignment with the UAE government’s environmental goals and COP28, TERRA has introduced the ‘Reviving Earth’ initiative, planting mangrove trees for every TERRA motorbike on UAE roads.

This initiative underscores TERRA’s commitment to sustainability and actively contributes to global environmental objectives in the fight against climate change.

TERRA says it is leading the way in the MENA region by introducing Smart Battery Swapping and promoting eco-friendly initiatives, establishing a benchmark for a sustainable future.

Its commitment to making electric mobility accessible and convenient aligns with global and regional sustainability goals.

What sets TERRA apart is its vision of a universal swapping network for all-electric vehicles, not just enhancing accessibility but also propelling the eco-conscious future of the last-mile delivery industry.
