Chennai, India-based TVS Motor Company, a two-wheeler manufacturer, has announced its flagship crossover Electric Vehicle (EV), the TVS X, with “benchmark” features, design, and performance. This marks a significant move in their commitment to global sustainable mobility solutions.

TVS Motor Company claims that the TVS X is poised to make a mark in the growing global EV market. Engineered with a rider-centric approach, it embodies a seamless rider-machine connection. 

Developed entirely at TVS Motor’s Indian R&D facility, it features a potent electric motor and advanced battery tech. This results in both exciting acceleration and a commendable range, catering to convenience and comfort. 

Aligned with TVS Motor’s vision for a clean and tech-driven product, the flagship EV boasts “stellar” performance and safety features, appealing to trendsetting young Indian consumers.

The TVS X is available for booking on the official website, with deliveries beginning in November 2023 across 15 cities in phases. It comes with an introductory price of INR 2,49,990 (Ex-showroom Bengaluru) under the Thrill-electric pricing model. 

Portable 950W chargers can be obtained for INR 16,275 (including GST), and an optional 3kW Smart X Home rapid charger is also offered.
