US-based Cyrusher, an e-bike brand, unveils the Ripple, the world’s first electric snowboard.
The Ripple, at 156cm, aligns with the Camber snowboard category, featuring advanced tech. It is crafted with a wood core, fiberglass, and carbon edges, for durability and riding dynamics.
According to Cyrusher, the Ripple is designed to empower a diverse range of snowboarders, introducing new opportunities through “innovative” electric energy.
What does the electric snowboard offer?
The Ripple has a 3000-watt motor, integrated into the snowboard, and delivers speeds of up to 50 km/h. The advanced V1 controller, tailored for snow and ice, ensures precision with a high-voltage-resistant MOSFET and advanced heat dissipation.
Powered by a low-temperature resistant Molicel 21700 P42A 4200mAh 45A battery, the Ripple covers 15-20 km on a single charge.
The Ripple’s board design incorporates a wide, high-traction rear tire, custom-made for snowboarding. This optimises traction on icy snow, delivering faster grip and stability on snowy terrain for skiers to experience maximum control.
The Ripple introduces an adjustable independent suspension with manual wheel height adjustment, enabling riders to customise their adventures by absorbing shocks and adapting to the snow’s contours.
With a maximum load capacity of 250 lbs and accommodating rider sizes from 160-190cm, the Ripple ensures stability for a diverse range of users.
